Pass the Imposter

Privacy Policy

Last updated 2026-07-05

Pass the Imposter does not collect personal information. There are no accounts and no server-side database. Everything you type stays on your own device.

What we store on your device

Player names, your game settings, and any custom word packs you create are saved in your browser’s local storage so the game remembers them next time. This data never leaves your device and is not sent to us or anyone else. You can clear it at any time from your browser settings.

Analytics

We may use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics (such as Google Analytics) to understand overall traffic, for example how many people visited a page. Analytics, when enabled, only records anonymous usage statistics and never the words, names, or custom packs you enter.

Cookies

Pass the Imposter does not require cookies to play. Any analytics provider, if active, may set its own cookies, which you can block in your browser.

Children’s privacy

Pass the Imposter is family-friendly and suitable for all ages. Because we do not collect personal information, we do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above reflects the most recent change.
